Metal detectors

Many types of metal impurities can enter tree trunks. Nails, shrapnel, broken hooks, chain residues are just a few examples. These metal parts causes huge costs from damage to downstream processing equipment (eg. Saw blades), and lost production.

 

The OCTAGON metal detector has the highest detection accuracy for both magnetic and non-magnetic metals, including those that have grown into the tree trunk.

 

The detectors octagonal shape guarantees optimum metal detection throughout the entire surface. Because of the smal metal-free zone the space required for integration into both new and existing facilities is minimal.

VT
Metal detector for scanning of wood waste.

Detects magnetic and non-magnetic metals - also enclosed objects.

Precise alignment of the detector plate to the vibrating feeder / conveyor belt.

The
VT metal detector is used for scanning wood waste in a vibratory feeder for reliable protection in downstream processing equipment (eg, wood chippers).

 

The detector coil is integrated into a fiber glass section, which is adapted exactly to the shape of the transport channel.
Therefore, all magnetic and non-magnetic metal impurities are detected with high security. A significant advantage over conventional flat detector coils where an increased material height has a decreasing detection accuracy.

 

Another important advantage of the VT metal detector is the extremely small "metal-free zone". Therefore, it is possible to adapt it to short chutes without sacrificing sensitivity and security.

PT
For scanning board material and wood chips.
Flat metal detectors are easily mounted under the conveyor belt or vibrator and are best suited for low altitude products, such as boards and panels, as well as in lesser flows of waste material. PT is a robust and affordable detector used primarily as protection for shredding machines.
ELS
For scanning board material and wood chips.
With the ELS you achieve higher detection sensitivity, and humidity or other product effects can easily be compensated for automatically. For large working widths a segmented detector coil simplifies localization of the metal object.
MSG3E
For scanning board material and wood chips.
The detector is easily mounted under the conveyor belt or vibrator and are best suited for low altitude products, such as boards and panels, as well as in lesser flows of waste material. Available in many sizes.

Magnetic barrel separator

Magnetic barrel separators are very effective in removing magnetic objects in chips or particles. Magnetic barrel separators contains two sectors - one magnetic, the other non-magnetic.
There is a drum that rotates outside these and over in which the material flows or falls.
