    The correct 12 volt charger (Minelab part No 3011-0339) must be used with this battery. The 18 volt output mains adaptor that is used for the older type NiMh batteries is not suitable and will damage the L/I battery pack.

    The correct mains charger (240 volt) is the same as the Gold Monster 1000 and is 12 volt output. The 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor is suitable though, as it is 12 volt.
