Hello all happy Ädelforsingar

Niklas Karlsson and I have arranged a visit to the Zinc Mine on Saturday 21 October. We will gather at 09.45 at the entrance to the Zinkgruvan. There a guide will meet us and we will be given the beneficiation plant and the mine itself, which we will be able to go down in. Bring a geologist's hammer because it is possible that we will have to tap rock inside the mine or on the mine's warp piles.

The visit costs SEK 50 per person. Bring even money.

The Zinkgruvan community is located east of Askersund at the northern end of Vättern.

Tickets and prices
Museum (includes round-trip train): 50 sek / pers

Museum - groups larger than 10 people: SEK 40 / pers
Tickets to the museum are bought on the spot.
