Prospector's Sand Scoop
This is a really good plastic scoop that we use when we got a signal with our metal detector and dug up the dirt, which we believe contains the find.
Because it is made of plastic, you can scoop up some of the dirt, sweep it in front of the search coil, and see if the object is located in the scoop.
Also used to feed our sluices. Once you've tried this scoop, you can not be without it.
