Minelab X-Terra 705
X - Terra 705 is a really, really good general purpose detector. It has all the important features of which several are automatic . It runs deep. You will be very pleased with this detector !
It can be used for almost anything. Using a variety of pre-programmed modes , you get in practice several different detectors.
The metal detector will find a 4mm 's delights at 5 cm (!) , A tack at 18 cm, a silver coin of 32 cm and a small gully at 92 cm . More depth numbers, see specifications above.
The detector has a very powerful discrimination. It has no less than 28 "windows" . Each of these windows provide only signal for a certain kind of metal / alloy. The windows can be independent of each other , " opened" or blocked. Just choose what you want to look for so you can find the detector just that. If you do not want to listen to signals from the "junk metals " are being blocked simply .

But there are no less than seven other different search coils (accessory) that improves the detector's properties further .Once you get a signal on an object to display a number ( from -8 to 48 ) on the screen. This figure indicates what kind of object that is hidden in the ground. Using this information you can decide if you want to dig up the object or not. Even the sound from the speaker is changed ; "good" object produces a sound with light tone while iron admitted for a dark tone.Different types of soil contains a greater or lesser amount of (noisy) mineral . In order to find deep subject as a detector must be set to " leak out" these disturbances. X - Terra 705 does this automatically. It identifies the needs of the soil " noise level " and adapts accordingly. Amended soil interference level detector compensates for this . This is a great advantage in certain areas such as wet / dry sand ( at the beach) and the transition between high and low mineralization (when detecting for gold in the gold fields ) .Adjustable iron discrimination ( in exploration mode ) . With this function , you can find eg gold close ferrous metals.The special prospecting mode has greater sensitivity making the detector to find even small objects , especially if you use the elliptical 18.75 kHz sought pole. Prospecting Mode can be used in "difficult" areas , such as mining fields and gold fields where it is very mineral in the soil. Location is ideal not only when searching for gold nuggets but also for certain types of jewelry, such as small earrings and thin rings .The detector uses a technique in which analog signals are converted to digital . This technique makes the X- Terra 705 virtually insensitive to external electrical interference.It has adjustable background noise to more accurately understand the type of metal that is below the search coil.Two fine tuning modes ( Pinpoint ) to precisely determine where the object is located .Clear LCD display with backlight.
